About Turn and Heal Coaching
Why We Started This Coaching Ministry
Because of our passion for guiding people into healthy physical and spiritual lives, we wanted to create some kind of ministry or lifestyle center.
Then, in 2023 a huge financial shift in our lives gave us the push we needed to finally turn our dream into reality.
With God's help, we created a website and started marketing our services to the local community in Delta County Colorado.
Our greatest desire is that we can bring relief to those who are suffering, light to those who are searching, and hope to those who desperately need it.
A Donations-Based Operation
In all honesty, we decided to become a donations-based coaching company due to insurance reasons.
At least, that's how it started out.
The truth is, life coaching and health coaching are still somewhat of a luxury service. Some people can afford to spend hundreds or thousands of dollars on coaching sessions, but many can't. Many of the people that we want to reach with this ministry are those who can't afford, or get access to, traditional health care. We also want to show people that there is a simple, natural way to solve their health problems.
Because of that, we decided to put this ministry completely in God's hands. If he wants it to stay afloat, he'll provide the means. We decided that we would offer our services and free gifts in exchange for donations. Not only would this make us more accessible, but it would also solve our insurance problem.

About Patrick: Life-Long Life Coach
How I Became A Life Coach
By the time I began studying what it meant to be a life coach, I realized I had (unknowingly) been operating as one for close to 30 years. My family always accused me of "provoking people to talk to me". This "provocation" consisted of me sitting and listening to people talk about their problems while occasionally offering advice if I was asked for it.
I was doing this for people of all age groups. The fact is, people need somebody who's willing to listen and I was good at it.
Eventually, I enrolled in The Coach Mindset and became certified. I can't really say when my first coaching session was because I had been doing it for so long. However, sometime after I had finished my training, I began informally "coaching" people in my family and social circle.
When my wife had to quit her job due to severe stress and massive changes in the office, it made sense that we would start a coaching ministry together. We had always wanted to go into ministry and help people, this was our opportunity.
About Rhoda
How I became A Health Coach
I had worked in the health field for many years. Both my husband and I have worked in nursing homes and seen the sad condition of the residents. As I moved around from one health organization to another, I quickly realized the inefficiency of modern-day healthcare. All around me were sick people, paying thousands of dollars to treat symptoms instead of the actual cause of their diseases.
I was born into a family that had health problems. My father, brother, and I were all allergic, sensitive, etc. These problems only grew worse as I got older.
Because of how sensitive my body was, I would often react to treatments and traditional drugs. Most of my healthcare providers didn't believe me when I said I couldn't get numb from anesthesia, or I had trouble with a particular type of medication.
This, combined with my experience in the healthcare system, drove me to the world of natural medicine. I became passionate about learning how simple lifestyle and diet changes could drastically affect the way we live our lives.
The more I learned, the more I changed. I had a very high-stress job that was the only source of income for my family, so my stress and long hours were very detrimental to my health. However, I was able to make it through thanks to everything I had learned and, most importantly, prayer.
Eventually, I had to leave my job and take a less stressful position elsewhere. This gave me the opportunity I had been longing for to share the knowledge I had gleaned over the years with others. I had already been helping people in my family, workplace, and church; why couldn't I help more people?
I'm so grateful for the opportunity the Lord has given me to show others what I learned.

No. Life coaches and health coaches are not therapists. Therapists have different training and certification. Any advice we give is exactly that; advice. We don’t diagnose or prescribe “treatment” for any pre-existing conditions (as per Colorado law).
-
Yes. You don’t have to believe in God or the Bible to sign up for our health coaching and life coaching services. Be aware that we use biblical principles in our coaching because we find them to help people.
