Learning How to Change Your Diet Will Make You Healthier, and Let You Live Life to the Fullest

Making Diet Changes

Diet change is one of the most important, and difficult, components of becoming healthy.

We don't want to change our diets. We love our comfort foods. Mac and cheese, pork rinds, deep-fried mushrooms, etc.

For many people, changing your diet is a lot more complicated than throwing out old food and replacing it with healthy substitutes.

The real change has to happen in your mind. Eating is an emotional experience, and giving up the foods we've loved for so long can be painful. I'll be helping you work through that pain and readjust your taste buds to healthier options.

By taking your body's needs and preferences into account, you'll soon enter a better physical and mental state.

Making Things Taste Good

No one wants to eat food that tastes disgusting.

How long has it been since you've taken a handful of fresh cilantro and eaten it in one setting? How about chowing down on a whole head of lettuce with no sauce or seasonings?

For some people, those healthy plants taste delicious by themselves. Most of us, however, would gag without smothering our salads and entrees with ketchup, ranch dressing, and our favorite homemade sauces.

Retraining your taste buds is much easier when you know how to cook healthy food the right way. I'll introduce you to some delicious sauces and seasoning combinations that you're going to want to add to your recipe books right away.

Overcome Negative Eating Patterns

Negative eating habits come in a wide variety.

Some people have eating disorders where they eat too much or too little.

Others have control of their diet, except when they sit down to watch TV.

Maybe you are sensitive to certain foods, but give in to temptation when you go out to eat with your friends. The next day you have a headache, stomach pain, etc.

Sometimes negative eating habits are so severe that people need counseling or therapy.
